September 9 "Children of Lebanon" Fundraiser

pm. Fundraiser for the children of Lebanon, at USC's
Bovard Auditorium, with, among others, Yuri Mrakadi from Lebanon
and pop star Emo
Dagger. Yuri Mrakadi is the writer, composer and producer
of numerous innovative Arabic songs such as "Arabiyon
ana", "Al mar'a al alrabiya", "Bahebbak
moot" and other hits. His exclusive performance on Sept.
9 will raise money for children affected by the current conflict
in the Middle East. From a top music artist to best actor
in 2006 for his main role in "Montaha el lazza",
Yuri Mrakadi never seizes to impress. "I'm so happy to
know that my music can make a change, I'm looking forward
to this great event and do really hope people from all over
can take part in it to make Lebanon a better place for our
children." Yuri will be flying in from Lebanon with his
own band. Cosponsored by Beirut-Los Angeles and Levantine
Cultural Center.
Tickets range from $50 to $1,000 and all funds raised go to
the U.S. Fund for Unicef.
